  1. Polina: VICIOUS!! One of my favorites from last year. One of these days I will take the Sanderson plunge. I love seeing love for Simon/Becky. I cannot wait for her sophomore book! (I almost wrote sophomore album HA!)

Sondra: Also love for VICIOUS!! YAY!! Also Noelle August! I loved Boomerang. Six of Crows!! I have so much love for that book. Are you planning on reading her Grisha series (or did you)? I will say I think I like Six of Crows better but I still have a lot of love for Grisha.

(I can’t speak for Sondra, but I also love Six of Crows much more than Grisha, though I liked Grisha a lot. I’ve been meaning to reread for a few months now. I need Nikolai in my life again.)

  2. I still haven’t read Elizabeth May, though I’ve been meaning to for… two years now. I still keep hearing good things, though, so I’m going to have to make more of an effort next year!

    • Don’t worry it worked out! The first book had such a cliffhanger and the second one is FINALLY coming out this year!! So now’s the PERFECT time to jump in!

  3. Yes! I see that you guys included two of my all-time favorite authors, Patrick Ness and Victoria Schwab! There are so many books that you’ve both listed that I haven’t been able to get to yet, but I definitely plan on it! Next year one of my goals is to read an equal amount of backlisted titles to balance out my arcs, so I’m hoping to pick up most of these books up soon. Great list guys 🙂

    • I’m really proud of my reading this year because I read both a lot of new releases and a lot of books I’d been meaning to read for a while. Of course, I still have a lot left to read as well. Right now, The Lies of Locke Lamora, Chaos Walking, Falling Kingdoms, and all of Melina Marchetta’s books that I haven’t read yet are pretty high on my list. I think there’s a backlist challenge for 2016 somewhere?

  4. hnnnggalkdjfa;lsdj you mentioned some great authors! LEIGH BARDUGO WAS MY ULTIMATE NEW TO ME AUTHOR I LOVED HER BOOKS alsdkjas;lfj but I still need to read some Schwab. I really really do. Apparently she’s just the epitome of amazing.
